Sublime were approached by newly weds, Matt and Karen, to create a contemporary designed kitchen in their new home at an affordable price. With a relatively limited space, the couple wanted to create a bright, clean and spacious room that gives the illusion of light.
We gave the kitchen a seamless finish using white, grey and chrome fixtures throughout the space. We used Milano Handleless Ranok in a super matt grey giving a beautiful tactile feel. Using bespoke modules, we maximised the space available and gave the illusion of a larger room by not taking up space with bulky cupboards. This allowed Matt and Karen to introduce colour and texture on the shelving units. Light grey, textured flooring added to the seamless illusion by blending in with the units. The white tiles add even more texture with a glossy finish to emphasise the contemporary feel. The clever use of light, colour and texture breathes a new lease of life into a kitchen that once felt cramped and dark.
